Noises Off

The classic riotous comedy by Michael Frayn, about the chaos behind the curtain !

Noises Off is a side-splitting, fast-paced farce that pulls back the curtain on a disastrous theatre production. Set in a fictional play called Nothing’s On, we follow a troupe of bumbling actors as they fumble through disastrous rehearsals and a hilariously disastrous run of their show.

What begins as a chaotic rehearsal quickly spirals out of control as egos clash, lines are forgotten, doors get stuck, and romantic entanglements spill over into the onstage action. But the real comedy lies in the backstage mayhem, where personal dramas unfold and disaster strikes at every turn. With misunderstandings, mischief, and a series of comic mishaps, Noises Off is a tour de force of physical comedy and slapstick humour.

Prepare for a masterclass in theatrical absurdity—Noises Off is a hilarious celebration of everything that can go wrong when the show must go on!

This amateur production of “Noises Off” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. ww.concordtheatricals.co.uk
